Services
My name is Rod and I run a small 3D visualization practise based in Hamilton, Waikato region in New Zealand. I have started to work with architectural 3d modeling in 1997 exactly when I joined the Architecture & Urban Planning university. My jobs are mostly done in New Zealand, but I have also done few jobs to Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Belgium and Papua New Guinea.
I work full time for APL (Architectural Profiles Ltd.) and the 3Dmodels is only a freelance work I do during night times and weekends as long as I am not doing parenting jobs. =)
I use the highest quality in CAD (Computer Aided Design) offering a wide range of services to my clients and to the construction marketing.
I have had the oportunity to work in conjunction with PL Design Ltd. and ZoomIN Ltd. developing also Physical Models of projects such as Michael Hill's golf course in Arrowtown (South Island), Te Arai (North Island), Jack's Point golf course in Queenstown (South Island), Wyuna Preserve (South Island, between Queenstown and Glenorchy) and few others.
The Koru, the logo, symbolizes new life, growth, strength and peace. It is an integral symbol in Māori art. The circular shape of the Koru helps to convey the idea of perpeptual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.
3D RENDERS and ANIMATION
We can help you to visualize your project before it's been built. We produce external and/or internal images in 3 dimensions. We offer different styles of presentation, from sketches and watercolour to photo-realistic renders. It's ideal for marketing and long printings on canvas.
PHYSICAL MODELS
Ideal for marketing where you can have your building on a real 3d form. It can be displayed in malls while customers can walk around and have a better feeling of what the development is about. Cars, people, roads, trees, everything in front of their eyes gives you more flexibility to discuss with buyers and investers.
AUTOCAD COURSE
We offer an individual "face-to-face" basic/intermediate level course. Online classes are also available. You will learn how to use the best of the software and produce high quality drawings on a short time frame. Contact us for more information.
